The modular design of our COS11’s and COS21’s already do a great job of mitigating muzzle flip. Porting is one more way to reduce muzzle flip or felt recoil even more.  Whether it is “Chunk” or “V” style porting, the results are the same.  The gases that are pushing the bullet down the barrel go out the port rather than follow the bullet.  These gases go up which offset the muzzle flip.
